EVA Air is the second largest airline of Taiwan. It started flying in 1991 as the first private owned airline of the country. It was set up by the Evergreen Marine shipping company. Today EVA Air flies an all-widebody fleet including ten McDonnell Douglas MD-11F cargo aircraft on long-haul destinations like Frankfurt, where the picture is taken.
