Alitalia is the national airline of Italy. The airline started operations in 1947 as Aerolinee Italiane Internazionali, but it became better known as Alitalia. In 1957 the airline merged with Linee Aeree Italiane. Today's long-haul fleet includes a number of Boeing 767-300ER airliners. The Boeing 767 on the picture is approaching Miami International Airport.
