Boeing 737-800 - Transavia Airlines

Boeing 737 Transavia Airlines

Transavia Airlines, founded in 1966 as 'Transavia Holland', is a Dutch holiday airline, fully owned by KLM. Transavia is operating an all-737 fleet of Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft. The picture above shows a Boeing 737-800 in the newest colours and the picture below the preceding livery, with some kind of green 'cucumber' on the fuselage.
The 737-800 on the third picture was leased by Transavia from Caribbean Airlines during the Summer season of 2007. This aircraft still had the livery of defunct BWIA West Indies Airlines. The fourth picture shows a Boeing 737-800 promoting Dutch Jumbo supermarkets. During the Summer season of 2007 Transavia flew three aircraft in this colour scheme. The next picture shows a Miami Air Boeing 737-800 leased during the Summer of 2008 and the last picture an aircraft leased from Sun Country Airlines, also flying in 2008. All photographs are taken at Transavia's homebase Amsterdam Schiphol.
