Thomsonfly is a large British lowcost and holiday airline. It was formerly known as Britannia Airways, which was the in-house airline of the travel organisation Thomson. Thomson was taken over by TUI in 2000 and in 2003 a lowfare carrier was started named Thomsonfly, which was merged with the Britannia holiday business in 2004. The fleet comprises Boeing 737, 757 and 767 airliners. The photograph shows a Boeing 737-300 about to land at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
