Korean Air is the official flag carrier of Korea. The airline emerged from Korean National Airlines, that was taken over by the Korean government nin 1969, but later it came in private hands again. Korean Air is a big airline and it flies a large variety of aircraft types and versions. Part of the fleet is a number of Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
