Airbus A340 - LAN Airlines

LAN Airlines was founded as Linea Aeropostal Santiago-Arica in 1929 but was renamed LAN Chile in 1932. Today's LAN Airlines is a group of Latin American carriers including LAN Argentina, LAN Peru, LAN Ecuador and several cargo airlines. On its long-haul services LAN flies a number of Airbus A340-300 airliners. The A340 on the photograph is landing at Frankfurt Rhein/Main Airport.
