US Airways is a major US Airline and the result of a long chain of mergers, including Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA), Allegheny, Piedmont, Mohawk and America West. At first the airline was named US Air but it adopted its present name in 1997. US Airways is an important customer of Airbus and the fleet includes more than one hundred Airbus A319 aircraft.
