Skybus Airlines was a shortlived US low-fare airline, which started flying in Spring 2007 and stopped operations about a year later. The airline was based at Port Columbus, Ohio, and started flying with three leased Airbus A319 aircraft. The airline had big ambitions, shown by the fact that it had ordered 65 A319s. Skybus aircraft were painted in a striking livery, although on some aircraft it showed less beautiful ads on the fuselage to generate more money. Both photographs show Skybus Airbus A319 aircraft at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport.
